While results and treatment recommendations vary per patient, it is recommended that a patient receives a series of multiple treatments approximately four weeks apart. Regular treatments following the initial series are recommended to maintain results.

Following treatment, some redness, dryness, peeling, and mild skin sensitivity similar to a sunburn may occur. Symptoms generally subside within three days, and patients may resume normal activities, such as using makeup and sunscreen, 24 hours after treatment.
