PDO THREADS

PDO threads are used to achieve the lifted, refreshed look of a facelift without surgery or downtime.

A thread-lift is a minimally-invasive procedure that tightens the skin without the need for big incisions. We use small needles or cannulas to insert fine threads under the skin. The threads are thinner than hair. These threads are designed to anchor sagging skin and lift it upwards. Threads stimulate collagen production, which diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Similar to surgical sutures, polydioxanone (PDO) threads are medical-grade, absorbable threads made of a material that safely dissolves when inserted under the skin. As they dissolve, they stimulate your body’s collagen production, restoring a natural lift in the face that can last for up to two years.

What areas can be treated?

Threads help erase fine lines and wrinkles, slim the face, reduce jowls, and sharpen the jawline.

We can treat the neck and areas on the face including marionette lines, nasolabial folds, smoker’s lines, and crow’s feet. We can target the jawline, cheeks, and brows.

How long do they last?

The results can last for up to two years. It takes 6-9 months for the threads to fully dissolve in the body, but the results last far longer than that.
