DERMAL FILLER
Dermal fillers are FDA approved gel-like substances designed to treat many areas of the face and body, to eliminate wrinkles, plump and replace soft-tissue volume loss. The most common treatment areas being the lips, cheeks and jawline.
How many syringes will I need?
The number of syringes needed is dependent on the area(s) being treated and what your goals are as a patient.
How long does it last?
The longevity of filler varies depending on the person and the treatment location. Because the filler is being injected into the body, some bodies can metabolize the product faster than others. On average you can expect results for 12- 18 months (give or take) depending on the area treated and the amount injected. Since fillers are a temporary solution, to maintain results, additional treatments will be needed on a recurring basis.
What is the recovery time?
Bruising and swelling is possible and common to experience after a filler treatment. We would advise planning 2 weeks ahead of any events or vacations for complete recover from the procedure.
